Tan sólo cuatro días antes del evento de Apple y la presentación de los nuevos dispositivos, se han filtrado los nombres y precios de estos. Tal y como decían los rumores, se confirmó la existencia del iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro y iPhone 12 Pro Max. Las filtraciones las liberó “Kang”, un filtrador chino que ha liberado una gran cantidad de información sobre el evento, y él mismo asegura que los los cuatro modelos nuevos tendrán conectividad 5G, incluyendo la tecnología mmWave de Qualcomm, y pantalla Super Retina XDR, con protección de cerámica para hacerlas más resistentes a las caídas.

Asimismo, confirmó las medidas y capacidad de almacenamiento de los mismos, y cada dispositivo queda de la siguiente manera: 

• iPhone 12 Mini con pantalla de 5.4 pulgadas, almacenamiento desde 64 hasta 256 GB, con cámaras angular y ultra gran angular y precio de 699 dólares, disponible en 5 colores.
• iPhone 12 con pantalla de 6.1 pulgadas: tendrá las mismas opciones de almacenamiento, cámaras y colores que el 12 Mini, pero con un precio de 799 dólares.
• iPhone 12 Pro con pantalla de 6.1 pulgadas, almacenamiento desde 128 hasta 512 GB, con una cámara telefoto con zoom óptico 4x y sensor LIDAR, aparte de los otros dos sensores, disponible en 4 colores y con precio de 999 dólares.
• iPhone 12 Pro Max con pantalla de 6.7 pulgadas: tendrá las mismas opciones de almacenamiento, cámaras (con sensor telefoto con zoom óptico 5x en vez de 4x), y colores del iPhone 12 Pro, con precio de 1099 dólares.

El iPhone 12 y 12 Pro tienen fecha de preorden del 16 o 17 de octubre y salida el 23 o 24 de octubre, mientras que el 12 Mini y el 12 Pro Max podrán preordenarse desde el 13 o 14 de noviembre y salida el 20 o 21 del mismo mes.
